In the lab

What we’re building and testing.

Two tracks run here: a camera engine that reads movement, and a study testing whether closing the loop helps patients recover.

A woman doing a side lunge at home in front of her phone, with the move90 camera skeleton tracking her knee angle and a reference check against lab motion capture

Movement engine

One camera model, two places.

Pose estimation from an ordinary phone or tablet camera, used for guidance at home and assessment in the clinic.

At home

Form guidance while patients exercise.

Prototype

The phone watches the movement and gives a short cue when form drifts, so patients can correct it on the next rep.

In the clinic

Movement assessment during the session.

Prototype

The same model measures range of motion while the physio assesses, so progress is tracked with numbers as well as notes.

In validation

We are benchmarking the camera against lab motion capture. When results are in, we'll explain here what the accuracy means for patients and physios, and what comes next.

Pilot study

Take part in our pilot study.

We’re running a pilot study with physiotherapists and patients. Take part and help shape what we build.

What we’re measuring

  • Adherence How much of the home plan patients actually do.
  • Recovery How pain and movement change over the weeks.
  • Experience What physios and patients find useful, and what gets in the way.
